Office of Fair Trading grants BPM a CCA license

The Office of Fair Trading ("OFT") granted Bluestone Portfolio Management (UK) Limited (BPM) a Consumer Credit ("CCA") License on 19th October 2009.
Under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, businesses that offer goods or services on credit or lend money to consumers or are involved in activities relating to credit or hire must be licensed by the OFT. The OFT only issues a licence if it is satisfied that the applicant is a "fit person" to hold one.

The scope of the CCA licence allows BPM to lend to individuals and small business and undertake servicing mandates in relation to a range of consumer loans (including second charge mortgages or mortgages secured on the property outside the United Kingdom).
